The “SM Photo Paper” series is the second generation of fast-drying photo paper, and as the name suggests (SM – Super Micropore), it has a special microporous and PE surface. Unlike other photo papers, “SM Photo Paper” is a highly technological product that falls into the category of “microporous photo papers with a resin coating (RC).” This type of surface treatment ensures premium print quality and gives the prints a photorealistic feel. The technology involves double-sided treatment of the base paper with a layer of polyethylene (PE), followed by a UV protective layer, and finally, an ink-absorbing coating. Papers of this type are fast-drying, moisture-resistant, with a pronounced glossy or satin effect, and offer realistic color reproduction.
